Lush Lighting makes LED's that are so powerful they heat up the air like the Sun! Ever walk into a greenhouse and notice the temperature and humidity immediately increase? This is because the Sun's light is exciting the particles in the air and those particles can't escape, commonly known as the Greenhouse Effect. This is happening on a global scale and switching to Lush LED's will reduce your carbon footprint for indoor gardening. It's important to know that you will still have to cool and remove the humidity out of the air when using Lush LEDs.

Lush Lighting's LED's operate under 100º and the glass is merely warm to the touch. The air coming from these units is around 300 BTU which is less than 1/10 of the heat from a single HID. Lush LED's do not produce a lot of heat. What they do produce is more energetic photons, more than any other grow light ever created before. This is important because you have never seen light like this and we want to make sure you are prepared for it. If you currently have a warehouse with AC units and dehumidifiers for controlling the environment from HID lights then you will be well suited to handle Lush LED's. We recommend you start with only 500w of Lush Lighting products per 4' x 4' area. This will allow you to ensure you can cool the effects of these highly energetic photons in your garden before going overboard. 500w of Lush LED's per 4' x 4' area has already been proven to outperform 1150w of HPS. You may increase the density of light and grow even larger plants, just make sure you can cool it. For new growers, we recommend watching your humidity very closely. It's likely you will need environmental control equipment right away.
Perform this test. Turn your Lush LED light on and feel the glass and how it's cool before the light heats up. Now put your arm a foot away from the light. Do you feel the heat? This heat is not from the fixture, those LED's are completely cold at the moment. That heat is from the highly energetic photons hitting your skin and feeling warm just as it would under sunlight. Heat is energy and your plants will use these photons to grow faster and produce larger flowers.
The penetration of light on plant growth refers to how deep into a canopy someone can still grow flowers. Everyone seems to think that HPS has the best penetration out of all the products on the market today. Well, not anymore! Not by a long shot! It was not 1000w HPS fixture's 140,000 lumens that allowed for profitable penetration. You can now penetrate over 2' into plants canopy and even grow 4' tall plants without topping. Branches up to 6' away from the Dominator will still grow in full, thick, and be very dense!

If you have heard of voltage loss, then you know that energy decreases as it travels. Power lines run on High Voltage because higher voltages maintains more energy when arriving at its destination. 

 The real reason Lush LED's greatly increase penetration is because we increase the voltage of our light. This increase of voltage means your plants can transfer energy further. This is why plants under Lush LED's experience more branch-off-branch growth, why the flowers grow larger and the penetration is deeper. Lush Lighting uses biochemistry and engineering to represent American ingenuity at its finest. Your prize garden will go from yellow to purple and from great to legendary!
Plants under Lush LED's require more water than plants under any other type of man-made light. By pushing your plants photosynthesis process into overdrive they will require more water molecules to split. You may notice the PPM's in your reservoir need to be diluted more frequently. A full dose of nutrients on a plant in soil may become too much. We recommend keeping plants at their natural levels (under 1.0 EC) you will see how plants can use less nutrients and more energy from light as fuel. Your plants will receive the same highly energetic photons that are in direct sunlight!

It's still possible to burn your plants with Lush LED's. These are High Intensity LED's that require space before coming into contact with your plants. At close ranges, the heat and density of the near UV photons can be too much for your plants to handle. Non-photochemical quenching of chlorophyll fluorescence begins to take place. Photosystem 2 (PSII) begins to decrease and NPQ defense mechanism starts at distances less than 8" to our Lush LED's. In extreme cases your prize flowers will turn completely white as it will lack all chlorophyll. Any plant that is within inches of a Lush LED will be burned by its energy! We recommend keeping plants 12" away from the surface of our lights to prevent any damage. Properly using our products will reward you for the next decade.
Young plants need time to develop a root structure that can provide the leaves with the water they need to grow. Do not put young plants at close ranges to Lush LEDs in hopes that they will grow faster. These plants need time to mature before exposing them to extreme intensities of light. Let the root zone develop, we recommend keeping young plants 3' away from the Vegetator! This may seem really far, it' not. In most cases your LED's will remain 2' away from plants. 
Pure water! Eliminate all unwanted particles from water. This will allow for more beneficial nutrients!

Young plants are fragile!
Many people think that plants are converting carbon dioxide into the oxygen they release. This is not the case. Carbon dioxide is actually broken down through photosynthesis and reformed into glucose. The oxygen does not get released here. The oxygen that plants are so well known for producing is actually coming from splitting water molecules. With the increase in photon energy, Lush LED Lights increase the rate of cellular division in your plants. The demand for pure water will increase.
